Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston wow fans while promoting Dos Hombres Mezcal

The 2022 Austin Food And Wine Festival held its three-day event in Austin, Texas over the weekend.

Among the many owners who were on the promotional trail: Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, who were there on Saturday to showcase their Dos Hombres mezcal.

The two leading Hollywood men met with fans, foodies and mezcal lovers at a booth where they sold bottles of their brand of spirits, signed autographs and snapped photos, and later helped give out free samples to eager taste testers.

Paul, 43, and Cranston, 66, were greeted by a crowd of excited fans as they arrived in an SUV adorned with the Dos Hombres logos.

From there they loaded boxes of dos hombres (two men) and sold bottles during a meet and greet at a stall that drew a long line of people wanting to meet the actors and buy something.

Never shy when it comes to their loyal Breaking Bad fans, the two actors-turned-entrepreneurs also took to the stage and spoke about their relationship, which began with their roles as Walter White (Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Paul) in Breaking Bad began how they ended up doing business together.

They also fielded questions from the audience, who were eager to learn more about their budding friendship.

The day’s events at the festival also included Paul and Cranston jumping into a food truck and personally serving free samples of their mezcal, which was well received by the hungry and thirsty crowd.

After Saturday’s performance, Paul took to his Instagram page and shared a video of the two stars going to one of their meetups and showing off their comedic skills.

In it, Paul struggles to carry four cases of their mezcal while Cranston directs him across a grassy landscape without ever offering to help.

“You want to help,” the Idaho native asks his Dos Hombres partner, who can be seen hurrying closer to him.

‘Yes. Go straight and turn right,” Cranston replies. “You want to take some boxes with you,” Paul asks as his former co-star continues to lead their walk.

At one point, after being asked to help with the boxes again, Cranston gets direct and shoots back, “Not really.”

“It’s friendship, it’s destiny, it’s mezcal,” Paul wrote in the clip’s caption. ‘I love you Austin!’

The Dos Hombres name was formed in 2019, six years after the Breaking Bad series finale, when they describe themselves as “two guys on a quest”.

The Austin Food & Wine Festival, held November 4-6, brought together dozens of companies and their representatives, entrepreneurs and chefs, among others, to meet, greet, eat and drink.
