Robyn accused Christine of “faking” a good relationship with Kody on Sister Wives.
She also said Christine and Kody “don’t communicate well at all.”
Janelle told cameras she felt the conversation was meant to “void” Christine.
On Sunday’s episode of TLC’s Sister Wives, star Christine Brown told her former sister wives Robyn, Janelle and Meri that she has found a buyer for her home and will be moving to Utah in a week.
The news prompted an intense conversation about the status of Kody’s marriages, in which Robyn Brown accused Christine of “faking” a good marriage in front of her when the family lived in Las Vegas.
After Christine said that some of the kids in the family saw that her marriage to Kody was struggling since they lived in Las Vegas, Robyn became defensive. “Vegas? Okay, that’s a lie,” she said.
“Because I remember the conversations, I remember what was going on,” Robyn added. “I remember Janelle and Kody making their relationship better than ever. I remember he spoke to you. I remember you guys having fun dates and hearing about it and seeing your relationship.”
“Well, you either faked it in front of me… I don’t know,” she concluded.

In a solo interview about the exchange, Kody’s second wife, Janelle Brown, said in front of cameras it was strange to see Robyn accuse Christine of lying because she’d known for a long time that the couple was having issues. She said she felt Robyn and Kody (who were present at the conversation, which took place in Christine’s backyard) were trying to “devalue Christine, just tell her she’s crazy” and the family “on a whim.” ” to leave.
Robyn misunderstood the fact that Christine was talking about her own marriage to Kody and not claiming that all of Kody’s Las Vegas marriages were unhealthy. Although they eventually cleared up the misunderstanding, it was a rare moment of tense dialogue between the women in the Brown family, who don’t typically discuss their individual relationships with Kody with one another.
The story goes on
Christine and Janelle claimed Kody had favored Robyn and her children for many years, as chronicled in previous seasons of Sister Wives.
In a Season 16 episode, Christine told cameras that some of her daughters had seen Kody have “apparent” favorite children, and this made it difficult for them to “respect” him.

During the conversation on Sunday’s episode, when Christine started telling Robyn that she and Kody were having important conversations about how their relationship wasn’t working, Robyn remained defensive.
“But you don’t talk, you don’t communicate,” she said. “You guys don’t communicate very well at all. So I don’t really see how that could even be legitimate.”
Christine then claimed that she and Kody had communicated “better” over the past six months, which he was wrong.
Christine and Kody split in 2021 after over 25 years of “spiritual” marriage. This season chronicled the complicated nature of separation and revealed how many people are affected when a woman decides to leave a multifamily family.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
