Backstreet Boys singer pays tribute to brother found dead on Saturday

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter spoke out about the death of his younger brother Aaron Carter on Sunday. Nick is currently touring Europe with the Backstreet Boys, posted a tribute to his brother and opened up about their troubled relationship.
“My heart was broken today. Although my brother and I had a difficult relationship, my love for him never waned. He finally found the help he so desperately needed,” he began.
Nick Carter commented that Aaron had mental health issues that ended up being stronger than him. “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss. But the truth is, addiction and mental health issues are the real villains here.”
In 2019, Aaron announced that he had been diagnosed with a personality disorder, schizophrenia, manic depression and acute anxiety. He also said at the time that he hadn’t seen Nick in four years, and had made several bizarre allegations against him, including abusing Paris Hilton. As a result, Nick issued a restraining order against his own brother.
“I will miss my brother more than anyone can imagine. i love you chizz Now is your chance to finally find the peace you never found here on earth…God please take care of my little brother.”
In the post, the star shared several pictures of the duo in their youth.
Aaron’s twin sister Angel also took to social media to say goodbye. “To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. we will miss you so much My funny and sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you with me and I promise to cherish them. I know you are at peace now will take you with me until the day I die and I can see you again,” he said.
Aaron Carter was found dead at his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday morning (11/5). According to TMZ sources, the artist’s body was found in the residence’s bathtub. Authorities received an emergency call around 11 a.m. local time and dispatched agents to the home, where they found the singer dead. There is no evidence of a crime for the time being, but the cause of death has not yet been made official by the investigation. Although he started his career in the 1990s, he was only 34 years old.
