In a post on Instagram, Justus says he’s an extremely cautious person and has no addictions mentioning that he doesn’t drink or smoke. Yet she is subject to unavoidable health obstacles.

“I came to share something personal with you because I think it can even help a lot of people. I’m a very selfcare person. I’ve never had an addiction, I’ve never smoked cigarettes, drank alcohol, etc. Still, of course I’m ready to have it all,” he explained.

After presenting his health rites, the presenter gave details of the diagnosis and how he had dealt with the initial information, shortly after the doctor suspected what the investigation might be about.

“I discovered a diverticulum in the bladder, on top of the bladder, that had something solid inside. Doctor Gustavo, a neurologist, decided that we needed to operate immediately on what could be a malignant tumor. We operated and found that it was. So I had invasive bladder cancer.”

Then it makes a long plea for early detection of cancer through screening. For him, this type of checkup is extremely important for health. Unfortunately, this is still largely ignored, especially by men.

“It was recorded in time. There? Because I took the exam because if we deal with an issue early on, cancer is not a death sentence for anyone. For 70, 80% of cancer cases treated early are curable. Get checked up regularly. Especially those over 40,” he advised.

CHEMOTHERAPY

Roberto Justus will undergo chemotherapy to treat his bladder cancer. After the malignant tumor is removed, he will do a few ‘preventive’ sessions just to make sure cancer cells don’t get a chance to take hold in another part of his body. He explains:

“I will do preventative treatment to prevent cells from entering my body. I will undergo preventive chemotherapy for 12 weeks, just 8 sessions, to eliminate any risk and guarantee a lasting cure.”

Despite the side effects of the treatment, such as hair loss and a lot of body aches, the moderator points out that these 12 weeks are not enough for the time he will still be able to spend with his family. He ends with his opening message.

“It’s a short time close to my whole life and everything I want to live with my family, my kids and my wife. Remember, prevention is the best medicine,” he adds.
