Woman Kidnapped And Killed, Fetus Ripped From Womb. A Couple Arrested

They have kidnapped a Womanthey killed her and have her ripped the fetus out of the abdomen. Amber and Jamie Waterman, a Missouri couple, have been charged with the kidnapping and murder of Ashley Bush, 33, 31 weeks pregnant. The woman was missing for hours, then her body was found with gunshot marks, the fetus instead lying in a different place than the mother from which it had been ripped from the womb.

The reconstruction of the facts

Apparently Bush was looking for a job, Waterman enticed her by telling her he had to offer her a job. The two women met at a Handi-Mart in Maysville, Arkansas, from where they were supposed to drive together to Bentonville, about 30 miles away, for an interview. This was reconstructed by police, who explained that the 33-year-old never arrived at her destination.

The reasons for the crime are not yet clear, as is the fact that they ripped the fetus out of her womb, a first hypothesis related to the couple’s interest in the child is not clear, but the real reasons are not known . Benton County Attorney Nathan Smith said he expects the Watermans to face additional charges. It is unclear whether Bush and his unborn child were killed in Arkansas or Missouri, a decision that would affect the charges against them.
