New NEOS start for Zelenskyj speech in parliament

NEOS is making another attempt to invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to speak in parliament. After the Russian war crimes in Bucha, Selenskyj should have “more than ever” the opportunity to communicate his view of things to Parliament, club vice president Nikolaus Scherak told the APA. More recently, NEOS failed due to lack of agreement in the presidential committee, because the SPÖ and FPÖ referred to neutrality.

After Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) traveled to Kiev, but also to the aggressor in Moscow, he must answer parliamentary questions, Scherak demanded. If he embarks on such delicate missions, that too must be discussed accordingly in Parliament. And especially after the “horrific war crimes committed by Russia in Bucha”, Selenskyj should have “more than ever” the opportunity to communicate his view of things to the Austrian parliament, according to Scherak.
