The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) condemned the Zionist regime’s increasing attacks on Palestinian pilgrims at Al-Aqsa Mosque in a statement released on Friday.
According to the report, the new wave of Israeli aggression following the recent operations by Palestinian youth against the Zionist regime shows that the Zionists fear the formation of a modern intifada (uprising), the advance of anti-Israel struggle among the youth, generating and fostering anti-Zionist resilience .
The IRGC went on to say that “Israel’s” attacks on the holy Al-Quds Mosque and brutal attacks on vulnerable believers were doomed to failure, would not weaken the heroic revolt of the intifada fighters, and would force the Zionists to indulge in even more horrifying nightmares pose problems.
The note stressed that the IRGC would continue to be a partner and supporter of the Palestinian Intifada and continue to support the resistance and the nation in a united front, while not allowing “Israel” to downplay the Palestinian issue as the top priority of the Islamic world.
Israeli occupying forces violently stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn on Friday and emptied it of worshipers.
According to the Al Mayadeen correspondent, the occupying forces fired sonic grenades, tear gas and rubber-coated metal projectiles at believers, injuring several of them.
