Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who are expecting their first child together, appear to be joining forces following split rumors and cheating allegations. On Friday, designer Amina Muaddi dismissed “disgusting” reports that a pregnant Rihanna had broken up with her rapper boyfriend over an alleged affair with Muaddi, who called the rumors “fake gossip.”
Indeed, the expectant couple appeared going strong, with photos provided to the Daily Mail showing them holding hands as they headed to a restaurant in Rihanna’s native Barbados for dinner. Continuing to slash traditional maternity style for the outing, the 34-year-old singer wore a black bodycon mini dress with tie detailing over her bare baby bump.
On Friday, she wore a strapless dress when she arrived at Barbados airport, where photos provided by TMZ show 33-year-old A$AP Rocky putting his arm around the mother-to-be.
The public displays of love appear to back Muaddi’s insistence that rumors of cheating and breakup that were circulated late last week were unfounded.
“I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve an answer or clarification, especially when it’s so heinous,” Muaddi, a friend and collaborator of Rihanna, wrote on her Instagram Story. “I initially assumed that this fake gossip, concocted with such malicious intent, would not be taken seriously. But in the last 24 [hours] I was reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to talk about issues, regardless of the factual basis, and that nothing is taboo. Not even during one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in life. So I have to speak up, as this is not only addressed to me, but also to people for whom I have great respect and affection.”
Following Muaddi’s post and vehement denials from people said to be close to the musical couple, the influencer, whose account is credited with spreading the viral breakup rumor, issued a mea culpa for sharing “reckless tweets”.

“Last night I made a stupid decision to tweet some information I had received,” wrote Louis Pisano, who apologized for creating “unnecessary drama” and vowed to take a step back from social media.
This “drama” followed Rihanna’s latest Vogue feature, in which she gushed about her relationship with her child’s father.
I just feel like I can handle every part of life by his side,” the Fenty Beauty founder told Vogue for the May cover story.
“People don’t get out of my friend zone that easily,” she added of her partner (real name Rakim Mayers). “And it certainly took me a while to get over how much I know him and how much he knows me because we also know how much trouble we can get each other in.”
The singer (real name: Robyn Fenty) also opened up about her ideal place to raise her child.
“Rocky recently asked me if I had a dream location, where would it be? I told him home, Barbados. I always imagined it like this. But realistically, it probably won’t be,” she told the magazine.
