Boom Account Scammers, Twitter Suspends Blue Service Last Hour

(ANSA) — NEW YORK, Nov. 11 — Twitter is suspending its subscription service following the boom in copycats and scammers on the platform. The American media reported. There is no confirmation from the company that tweets, except for a clarification: Accounts created around November 9 “cannot subscribe to Twitter Blue at this time.” The $7.99-a-month service launched on Wednesday, and since then the social network has been flooded with accounts attempting to impersonate brands and celebrities. A fake Eli Lilly account tweeted that the company was giving away insulin for free, while a Lockeed Martin fake account announced it was suspending arms sales to Saudi Arabia. (HAND).
