Jesy Nelson ‘preparing to release new music after playing tracks for friends at party’ – over a year after debut single Boyz was released
She split from her record label Polydor earlier this year following her debut single Boyz after leaving Little Mix.
But Jesy Nelson is reportedly set to release brand new music very soon, having recently invited her friends to a listening party, a source has claimed.
According to The Sun, Jesy, 31, was “overwhelmed” by the positive reaction of close friends who had an exclusive preview of her latest song, who all “loved it”.

The source said: “Jesy threw a party a few weeks ago and invited some of her friends over to hear some of the new music she has written and recorded
“She was blown away by their reaction as they all loved it.
“The music is more reflective of where Jesy is today and she believes will resonate more with Little Mix fans.”
They added that the 31-year-old Boyz singer is “more than ready” to showcase her latest songs to fans and that despite a difficult few months, she’s “so excited for the future.”

It comes two weeks after Jesy returned to Instagram after a period of silence on social media that has done her “good for the world”.
The singer deactivated her account and removed all pictures and videos in September because she “needed a break.”
The former Little Mix star has promised fans she’ll be releasing new music “early next year,” but wants to make sure it’s “perfect” first.
Jesy marked her return by posting a black screen with a long message on her Instagram story.
She said: “Hello my beautiful people, I’m back! I decided I needed a little break from social media and it has served me very well. I missed you all so much.

The pop star, who left the band in 2020, has picked her second single after releasing her debut solo single Boyz with Nicki Minaj in October last year, according to The Sun.
One of Jesy’s demos – a song titled “La, La” – has leaked online, with the track featuring explicit male rap.
A source told The Sun the recording was made in early 2021 along with dozens of other studio tracks.
They added that the song will not be released as a single or album track.
Jesy separated from her record label Polydor in July of this year after 14 months.
Insiders said the pop star decided to walk away from her deal to make a fresh start after music due to the label was apparently delayed.
