Almost four months after the last episode aired in July, eerie photos of the abandoned Australian soap opera Neighbors have surfaced.
The Melbourne production studio, where generations of Australian stars including Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue began their careers, was still not vacated after production was completed.
Discarded props, like the famous Ramsay Street signpost, serve as sad reminders of the once-popular show, which was canceled in March after 37 years on the air.

The behind-the-scenes photos will no doubt stir up bittersweet memories for the millions of Aussies and Brits who have watched Neighbors for more than three decades.

The Neighbors cast and crew filmed their final scenes in June at Global TV Studios in Nunawading, Melbourne.
The soap was axed after Britain’s Channel 5 decided in March not to renew its deal with production company Fremantle to fund and broadcast the series.
The stars gathered around a sign on Ramsay Street after filming their final scenes.

At the Neighbors All-Star finale, the long-running Australian series won TV ratings for the first time in more than a decade.
The episode, which aired simultaneously on Channel 10 and 10 Peach, drew 873,000 Tube viewers on both stations, thanks largely to the cast of recurring favorites Guy Pearce, Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.
No other entertainment program came close to Neighbors as it rounded out its historic 37-year run with a 90-minute special.
