During the holidays, between April 14 and 17, federal police at São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos arrested eight passengers on international flights with drugs hidden in fabrics, dress shirts, cosmetic bottles, bodyattached, inner shorts, structures and double trunk floor.

On Thursday (14/14), federal police, working with the help of sniffer dogs, arrested a passenger who was about to board a flight bound for Lisbon, Portugal, with almost 12 kg of cocaine hidden in pieces of cloth. The man, a Brazilian37 years old, last destination was the city of Maputo in Mozambique.

A man, Angolan nationalwas arrested by Federal Police officers at Immigration Control on the 15th for attempting to complete the migration process by presenting someone else’s passport.

On the same day, almost 8 kg of cocaine was seized from a passenger, GuineaBissau national, who benefited from the refugee law, hidden in 16 dress shirts. The suspect was to board a flight to Doha, Qatar.

Moments after this arrest, the same police team was arrested a Brazilian couple containing almost 5kg of cocaine packaged in perfume, shampoo, deodorants, beard creams and moisturizers. The suspects’ final destination was the city of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

On Saturday (16th), a man, citizen of Turkey, who was supposed to be embarking for the Iraqi city of Erbil, was caught with a suitcase, the inside of which was made of a mixture of rubber and cocaine. The gross weight of the confiscated material was more than 3 kg.

Federal tax officials were arrested the same day a passengerwho planned to leave for Miami in the United States with $9,000 without giving a reason.

Two women, one from Angola and one from Namibiawere arrested by federal police last night (17) while attempting to board a flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with nearly 18kg of cocaine hidden in lycra shorts and taped vests worn under their clothing .

In another operation carried out by the same police team that day, a woman was arrested South African national, with more than 2kg of cocaine hidden in the false bottoms of his suitcase. The suspect’s final destination was the city of Johannesburg, South Africa.
