This Saturday, March 5, the Ukrainian authorities attributed the shooting to Sky News journalists to a group of Russian saboteurs who had been in the capital since the beginning of the offensive.
Two minutes of video of rare intensity, testifying to the risks journalists cover the conflict in Ukraine. A group of reporters from the British television channel Sky News came under the guns of militants when they drove up to Kiev by car.

Journalists report attack
Their car was moving slowly when the shots blew one of their tires. Journalists, including reporter Stuart Ramsay, will yell about their profession, trying to stop the gunshots, but to no avail. After a brief silence, the explosions begin again. Windows are broken and two crew members are injured, Sky News reports. Thanks to body armor, they avoided the worst.
Ukrainian authorities accuse Russian saboteurs
The journalists finally manage to leave the car and take refuge in a nearby garage. At first they think that it was the Ukrainians who shot them by mistake. But Stuart Ramsay, who was reportedly injured without Sky News specifying the severity of his injuries, says in the video that “they are professionals. They don’t miss us.”
