The Lizzie McGuire actress’ hair was pulled back in a loose, messy bun and she walked in immaculate white shoes.

She threw her stuff on the right side of the car before going to the driver’s seat.

The Houston native’s appearance came after she slammed Ballast Books for publishing her late ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter’s posthumous, unfinished memoir.

Last week, the actress and singer exclusively told that her ex Aaron Carter’s forthcoming book Heartless Money Grab is “disgusting” because he claims the pair lost their virginity together as teenagers.

Following the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter on November 5, when he was discovered in a bathtub, Hilary looked back fondly on the troubled singer-rapper in a touching social media post.

“I am deeply sorry that life has been so hard for you and that you had to fight in front of the whole world,” she wrote, directing her comments to Aaron.

She added that he had an “absolutely bubbly” charm during the time they spent together, adding, “Boy did my teenage self love you dearly.”

But Hilary took a tougher line after excerpts from the memoir Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story of an Incomplete Life were released, which Aaron had been working on with co-writer Andy Symonds before his death.

Speaking exclusively to last week, the Younger star called the book a “heartless money heist” for its claim that she and Aaron lost their virginity together when she was “maybe” 13 and he was 12.

“It is truly sad that within a week of Aaron’s death there is a publisher who recklessly launches a book to capitalize on this tragedy without taking the proper time or care to verify the validity of their work.” , she said.

“It’s disgusting to dilute Aaron’s life story into what appears to be unconfirmed click-bait for profit. In no way do I condone shed some light on what is so obviously an uninformed, heartless money robbery.’

An excerpt obtained by the New York Post reads: “Hilary and I lost our virginity at a hotel…in LA. I think it was her birthday, maybe her 13th [September 28 2000], but I don’t remember. Her friends came in and we just yelled at them to get out.’

Carter’s management team joined in criticizing the book, which was due to be published just 10 days after Carter’s death.

But after the uproar, publisher Ballast Books announced plans to delay its release, although a new date has not yet been announced.

Despite the controversy, Aaron’s co-author Andy Symonds defended his work on the book.

“Aaron Carter hired me to help him tell his story to the world. This story, while tragically abridged, was full of good and bad,” he told in another exclusive. “His life hasn’t been pretty, and understandably certain people in the public eye don’t want some of the stories Aaron tells in his book to come out.”

He added: “That doesn’t make them any less true or newsworthy. Like all of us, Aaron had the right to tell his story. As a journalist, I am honored that he chose me to help him with this.

“Aaron was not only cathartic for him, but also hoped that this book would help others struggling with addiction and mental illness. I hope and believe it will.’
