It’s called whips! and signed by a former Downing Street councilor. a work of fiction, but it tells of sex on the desks of Westminster and in the Prime Ministers’ residence, and features a disheveled politician who appears to be modeled on Boris
It’s the most anticipated red-light novel in the corridors of Westminster: written by a 32-year-old former Boris Johnson councilor, known as the Gazelle for his statuesque physique, it promises to make more than one MP blush with its explosive Mixture of sex and politics. It’s called Whips, which is English for group leader, but also for whip…: and the narration is teeming with sex toys.
Cleo Watson’s book, due out in May, tells the story of three young women navigating a political world dominated by corruption and incompetence: beauty, youth and peachy bottoms have their own brand of power, the author notes. And on this basis everything happens: carnal assemblies on the desks of parliamentary offices, in the press room, even in the prime minister’s country residence. In one iconic scene, a female congressman testifies before a House committee while secretly playing with a vibrator. The narrative begins with a leadership challenge following the ouster of a lackluster PM clearly modeled after Theresa May: and there’s a loving portrait of a disheveled and untidy MP who can’t help but be reminiscent of Boris Johnson. In real life, Cleo worked for the former Prime Minister at Downing Street as a priority and campaign manager, but in truth, as she wrote in Tatler magazine, my role was much closer to being Boris’ nanny.
It was the Covid era when all government employees were subjected to continuous testing and the task of checking Johnson’s temperature fell to the Gazelle: I did – said Cloe – and towered over him (in heels or not – I generally find it helpful physically intimidate): With one hand on my hip, I brandished an oral thermometer with the other and said, “Now again, Prime Minister!” And he, not missing an opportunity for a violent joke, dutifully folded into a square. The Gazelle was then apparently killed by Carrie, Boris’ wife, at the end of a tight power struggle: Cleo had been brought to Downing Street by Dominic Cummings, Johnson’s Rasputin, but was not long after she became Gazelle led to the door. But now she will have the last word.
