The official document with which the Tsar adorned the 64th Fusiliers, the soldiers who killed 300 civilians and dug mass graves in Bucha, was released. Awarded for “Heroism, Tenacity, Determination and Courage”

ODESSA He rewarded her “for her heroism, her tenacity, her determination and her courage”. With this motivation, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the 64th Rifle Brigade. Not just any men. But soldiers who have accused Ukraine and the whole world of killing and raping at least 300 civilians in Bucha, near the Ukrainian capital. And that the Kiev Ministry of Defense has expressly accused of being “involved in war crimes against the Ukrainian people” and has labeled these and other murders as genocide.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the whole world, still shocked and horrified by the images of the mass graves, slammed the Russian Defense Ministry in announcing the honor via Facebook, specifying how the brigade was sent to Ukraine after being first deployed to Belarus and then in Russia. And how he was awarded the Medal of Bravery for “military action to protect the country and the interests of the state in the context of armed conflicts”.

According to the reconstructions of InformNapalm activists, the 64th motorized artillery brigade belongs to unit 51460, which came to Ukraine from the village of KnyazeVolkonskoye in the Khabarovsk region beyond China and North Korea. Lieutenant Colonel Omurekov Azatbek Asanbekovich, whose details, including home address and photo, were published online by Anoymous hackers, would be at his command.

If this information is confirmed, he would be the man that Ukraine could one day bring before the international court. But it wasn’t just the 64th Brigade in Bucha. According to Kyiv Pravda, soldiers of the Eastern Military District and tankers of the Guards (36th Army of the Russian Far Eastern District) and elements of the 331st Parà Regiment of the 98th Airborne Division were deployed northwest of the capital.

Despite testimonies of killings, torture and rape, Russian authorities continue to deny attacks on civilians in Ukraine and try to argue that Bucha’s videos showing the bodies of civilians lying on the ground are fake.
