This Saturday, November 19, at the Casa de Nariño, the presentation of the conclusions of the population in the Binding regional dialogue between Bogota and the region. Among those attending the event were the President’s Advisor for the Regions, Luis Fernando Velasco, the Director of the National Planning Department (DNP), Jorge Iván González, the Minister of Education, Alejandro Gaviria, and the Mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López.

Citizens learned about the main proposals collected at work tables located at seven strategic points of the city, where supplies for the city’s construction were delivered National Development Plan 2022 – 2026.

Primarily the DNP director He spoke about the outcome of this event: “On Tuesday, the National Planning presented the draft pages of the National Development Plan to the citizens. They have a great advantage, they allow us to continue speaking in an orderly manner,” he said.

Likewise, González added: “What we are presenting to citizens is the result of the priorities that are being addressed in these regional dialogues. At national level we have 1900 tables that we have systematized, the results are already on the pages through the word clouds. And this government will try to respond to that.”

Jorge Iván urged citizens to keep participating in the regional dialogues: “Read the basics (of the National Development Plan) and tell us what we should improve and how we should improve it,” he concluded.

To, Luis Fernando Velasco, delivered his speech and during the words he addressed to citizens this Saturday morning, he read: “I ask myself a question and I ask you to change something, because in the first observations of the regional dialogues in all corners of Colombia an exchange resulted in water for cement”.

This is a Democratic president who listens to him because he is in tune with the reality of today’s world,” he said.

In memory of Claudia Lopez He thanked the 15,000 people who took part in the 145 tables and the 9 regional dialogues. “Citizens have suggested to the government that the priority issue to include in the development issue is health, and mental health in particular. The second is education, with an emphasis on higher education. The third major issue for the Bogotá region is security,” the district president clarified.

“We reiterate to the national government that in order for impunity to end when robbing humble citizens cannot be a sport but must be a crime with imprisonment, it must be fulfilled that robbers and perpetrators have an effective prison,” López stressed .

End, Alexander Gaviria, He mentioned that “from the start, these dialogues were an intention to do three things, the first to be horizontal, we’re going to dialogue with people. We will take seriously the way citizens define priorities. We also want citizens to be involved in the National Development Plan not only in defining priorities, but also in their execution.”
