The renowned Swiss accessories manufacturer Logitech expands its catalog of ergonomic peripherals with a new vertical mouse.
The newcomer therefore goes by the sweet name Lift and joins the MX Vertical, which has been available since summer 2018. The lift aims to alleviate (or prevent) the wrist pain felt by some users thanks to a 57° angle. (same position as when shaking hands) and was developed in the company’s Ergo Lab in Lausanne for people for whom the MX Vertical is too big.
Small hands, under 7 inches long according to Logitech, will therefore be better accommodated on this lift than on the MX Vertical (users with medium-sized hands — around 7 inches long — should be able to operate both versions comfortably), but the differences don’t end there. The Lift features a slightly revised design (the under-palm grip is still there, but the ribs are now horizontal. The button on the MX Vertical’s rim that is thumb-accessible is absent from the Lift), from buttons to silent, Bluetooth compatibility on three different peripherals and Logi Bolt (the USB-A dongle is included), three colors (white, black, pink, a first for an ergonomic range at Logitech) with 70% recycled plastic on the back black version ( 54% for the other two colors) and characterized by offer (soon) a left-hand version.
Another difference: the lift draws its energy from an AA battery (as opposed to a battery charged via a USB-C port on the MX Vertical) with an advertised autonomy of 24 months. The Logitech Lift is already available at a price of 79.99 euros, the first deliveries are planned for April 25th.
