Alabama Barker is thrilled to welcome Kourtney Kardashian to her family.
Travis Barker’s daughter took to her Instagram Story on Monday to gush about her stepmother-to-be on her 43rd birthday.
“Happy Birthday to the best soon-to-be stepmom I could ask for!” Alabama, 16, captioned a photo of herself posing with reality star and half-sister Atiana De La Hoya.
“You deserve the world @kourtneykardash ❤️.”
Travis, 46, proposed to Kardashian in October 2021. The two then said “I do” at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas after the 2022 Grammys earlier this month. However, the marriage was not legally binding.
The Blink 182 drummer was previously married to Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002 and to Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. He and the latter share two children: Alabama and 18-year-old son Landon.
Barker also helped Moakler raise their eldest daughter, Atiana, whose biological father is retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya. The two are still close, and Barker has invited Atiana to many Kardashian meetings over the past few years.

Though Alabama and her real-life mom seem to be in a better place these days, the mother-daughter duo hasn’t had a good relationship for a while.
Last year, both Alabama and Landon accused Moakler of being an absentee parent — allegations she called “utterly ridiculous.” [sic].”
“Everyone thinks my mom is awesome… My mom has never been fully in my life can you guys stop portraying her as an awesome mom,” Alabama claimed via Instagram in May 2021. “Did your mothers ask to see you at Mother’s? day because mine didn’t? I’m done keeping it a secret, reality shows.

Landon made similar comments on TikTok at the time, claiming Moakler “never was in our lives and isn’t in our lives like our father.”
Like his sister, Landon Kardashian seems to approve. “True love ❤️❤️,” he captioned his dad’s photos from the couple’s hands-on trip to Utah in April 2021.
