Bracketology: Kansas, UCLA Among Teams Looking To Improve Seeding In Regular Season Finals

Since all the favorites win on Friday, there is no change in the draw on Saturday morning. However, this will not happen on Sunday. Every conference still playing regular season games will play its last game on Saturday, except for the American Athletic Conference and the Big Ten, which complete their regular season roster on Sunday.

The first place in the NCAA Tournament will be awarded on Saturday when Murray State plays Morehead State in the final of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. Murray State is likely to enter the NCAA Tournament even if they lose, so this is a potential bet thief situation. Bubble teams will be hard at work cheering for the riders.

There are also nine other conference tournaments taking place today.

There are several games above the bubble zone that could affect Saturday’s seeding.

Alabama goes to LSU after another crushing defeat. Crimson Tide lost to Texas A&M at home on Wednesday and lost the seed line. LSU as a whole has struggled lately, having lost three of its last four.

The Arkansas are one of the hottest teams in the country, but the Sharp Backs will struggle in Tennessee. The Volunteers have not lost at home this season, including Arizona, Auburn and Kentucky among their victories.

Kansas will play its third game in five days when it hosts Texas in the regular season finals for each team. The Jayhawks are trying to stay in contention for the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while also taking first place in the Big 12 Tournament.

Baylor hosts Iowa State on Saturday, and the Bears are also hunting for the #1 seed in both tournaments. They need to win and be defeated by Kansas to take first place in the Big 12 tournament. Meanwhile, Iowa State is looking to their 10th Quad 1 victory today. The only team with more points is their opponent today, who has 12 points.

UCLA is at USC on Saturday as the Bruins look to split the season streak between them. The winner will be the second seed in the Pac-12 Tournament as both look to improve their seeding in the NCAA Tournament.
