Good news for followers of discussions with my parents

The Morency family will continue to make us laugh as ICI Télé today confirms a sixth season for the series, Discussions with My Parents.

This is news that we were hoping for, but not a huge surprise considering the popularity of this project written by François Morency.

Every week, “Discussions with my parents” reaches 1,251,000 viewers on average on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. on ICI TÉLÉ.

Series creator François Morency says: “Thank you to the public who have followed us in large numbers in this adventure. The writing of the 13 episodes of Season 6 has begun and I can confirm that this season we’ve met the new characters alongside the familiar ones – and they’ve caused quite a stir! – come again. I promise you will see little Lola (Victoria Bouchard), Madame Dupuis the housekeeper (Danielle Fichaud), Chantal, Raynald’s new wife (Amélie Bernard) and Alexis (Madi Chirara), François’ assistant! »

“It is with joy and deep gratitude that we welcome viewers to the gatherings of our illustrious Morency family. I’m happy for all the artists and craftspeople who are doing a remarkable job. We are delighted to be working together again to offer a 6th season,” adds producer Guillaume Lespérance.

Until then, Season 5 continues with the presentation of their last three shows, in which the Morencys, in turn, contribute to a “speed detector” operation, organize celebrations for Jean-Pierre’s 80th birthday and try to (finally!) make a great one Time to spend Valentine’s Day. 5, 12 and 19 December 2022, from 7:30 p.m., on ICI TÉLÉ.

Note that season 3 will re-air on ICI TÉLÉ for 12 weeks starting Friday 13 January at 21:00.

Here we talk to young Emeric Bissonnette, who plays young François in the series, about to discover an actor. Actor Blaise Tardif, who plays Raynald, also recently told us how the series has changed his life.
