Influencer Skye Wheatley has spoken openly about her ADHD diagnosis and revealed she can now read after struggling as a child.
The 28-year-old YouTuber shared a photo of a document showing several of her attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder ADHD symptoms via her Instagram Story.
“Well I can read now, that’s the main thing,” she joked alongside the photo.

The document begins by explaining that in her early years in elementary school, Skye “began to show signs of academic and social difficulties in daycare,” as well as “learning difficulties.”
In terms of social history, Skye is said to have had a good relationship with her younger sister and made friends “easily”.
But the statement goes on to list that Skye was often involved in “physically dangerous activities” with her brother and fought “viciously” with him.

The document begins by explaining that Skye “began to show signs of academic and social difficulties in daycare,” as well as “learning difficulties” in the early years of elementary school
Skye wrote alongside the photo that she never lived with her brother as a child.
“My brother too? I’ve never lived with my brother, huh,” she added.
Other notable symptoms of her ADHD included fidgeting, losing temper, interrupting, excessive talking, and intentionally doing things that annoy other people.
It also said Skye has difficulty following “initial orders” 20 to 40 percent of the time.

Sharing her struggles on Instagram, Skye said doing the simplest of things, like packing a baby bag for a family vacation, can be difficult.
“I actually think this should be a fact, that ADHD people would have more trouble having babies than other normal people because our brains are constantly going into overdrive and then you throw a baby into the mix,” she said at the time .

“It’s like, holy shit, now I have to think more, more than what I had to think about before, which was a lot, and now it’s about three times as much as before.”
Explaining that there’s nothing but chaos going on in her head, she admitted that sometimes she feels like “her head is spinning around the explosion.”
“It’s just a lot, I was just trying to pack my bag because we’re going on a little family vacation and I had to pack two bags, one for me and one for Forest.”

“I struggle to pack a bag for myself, let alone pack for me and a little human and all the other stuff that’s going on in my head,” she said.
She added: “I’m just making life so difficult for myself. I feel like I’m going, going, going all the time, although I’m probably not, it’s my brain that’s like going, going, going. My brain never shuts down.’
