Actress Sophia Valverde, 17, announced the end of her contract with SBT tonight after almost 10 years. The artist leaves the station after the soap opera “Poliana Moça” in which she plays the protagonist of the series.
In a post on Instagram, the actress expressly thanked everyone who was part of her professional career at the station.
“Today my contract with SBT ends. SBT was where I started my acting career. Thanks also to everyone in production (there were so many), cameras, lighting crew, against rules, sound crew, lighting, casting coaches, Rosinha and her assistants, gratitude to Helena (for touring so many times with me for SBT and for accompanying me on so many recordings of other shows in the house) and her team, music team, choreography team, costume designers, hair team and makeup, Stitch people, water, drivers, SBT security, food court people, Conti, my castmates from all the soap operas,” she said.
In the statement, Sophia highlighted how she spent pleasant years during her time on the ward. “Think of wonderful people who took joy in being together, working together and laughing a lot about so many things…especially Pedra, who was always telling me stories from his life kkkkk! How I will miss it all,” said he.
However, she emphasized that the life of an artist is surrounded by changes and different works, which is why she is saying goodbye to SBT. “But that’s life as an artist: one day you’re in one production and the next in another. You live different characters throughout your career.”
Sophia said she is very grateful for these ten years of service at the station and said she trusts God with the next steps in her career.
“I am very thankful because I know that until now it has been God who has taken care of me and guided me in such a beautiful way. And I put my future in his hands, believing that he will only put good things in my path for me and for others, my family,” he said.
She also thanked the fans of “Poliana Moça” and explained that she loves the viewers. “Thank you to everyone who watches the soap opera and sends me sweet messages of love every day. I love you and thank you for always being by my side and supporting me.”
Finally, Sophia reflected that the end of the contract opens up new opportunities in her career, allowing her to have new experiences and jobs.
“The end of a contract is not the end of new opportunities. It is the beginning of new experiences and achievements. This cycle that ends today does not prevent me from returning because I know that the doors will be open. The good and happy memories will be forever,” he concluded.
