US, 10yearold black boy arrested for stealing bag of potato chips

Four Syracuse, New York police officers arrested an African American boy for stealing a packet of potato chips. A local resident filmed the scene and now the authorities are analyzing the incident.

Police in Syracuse, New York arrested a boy for stealing one packet of chips. At least four law enforcement officers can be seen in the video of the arrest dragging the man 10 year old African American child, forced him to get into a squad car. The very young man appears visibly traumatized: he cries and screams as he is forced to keep his hands behind his back as a police officer drags him to the car.

“What are you doing? Let him go?” the agent asks the person who did it Movie. “Guess, guess,” replies the policeman. “He looks like a kid to me. I don’t know what you’re doing So, what’s going on?” the filmer continues to question himself. “He steals things. If he came into your house…” says another agent before being interrupted. “No man! what did he steal A bag of chips, can’t you treat him like a cold blooded bloody criminal?” the man replies incredulously again. “Go on, dude, you don’t even know what you’re talking about,” one of the officers interrupted. The man then offers to pay for the stolen bag of chips so she can be released. “He grabbed our butts like he was a grown man and even said he wasn’t!” replies the policeman. That Video ends with the child crying hysterically while sitting in the back seat of a police car.

The incident is now being investigated by the Regulatory Office Syracuse who released a statement on the matter: “We are aware of a video shared on social media involving some of our officers and young people accused of stealing from a shop north of the city. The incident, including agents’ actions and bodyworn cameras, are being analyzed.”
