Katy Perry Had A Candid Answer When Asked About A Second Baby With Orlando Bloom

Is there another baby in the cards for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom? This big question was asked of the E! News from the American Idol red carpet on Monday. She had a clear answer.

“I’m in Vegas and I can’t do this show with something in my stomach,” Perry explained, referring to her residency in Las Vegas. “Especially a human.” So that’s not a straight no, but more of a “let’s see…”

The couple already have their hands full – in the best sense – with their one-year-old daughter, Daisy. “She’s running,” revealed Perry. “She says ‘I love you’, she dyes, [and] she has pigtails.”

The new mom has gushed about the journey of parenthood since birth. “I never really knew anything about unconditional love,” she told Variety. “Of course my mom did for me, but I didn’t really experience it in the first-person perspective until I had my kid. And that was just a whole other level. I think I see through the eyes of a child – like my life and art always feels playful – so it’s amazing to have a relationship with children even in your deep 30’s. And they still want to hang out and find you the funniest adult in the room.”

Bloom seems just as excited about being a dad – and it doesn’t hurt that his daughter’s first word was “Dadda.” “It’s amazing to be a father again,” he told the Sunday Times. “‘Daisy is a very happy baby. I will kiss her and we will spend some time together. I’ll look her in the eye and sing songs too, ‘Daddy loves his Daisy Dove’ so she knows who Daddy is.’”
