After a dismal first quarter, Netflix hopes to lure subscribers back in May with the return of some of its most popular series.
After a three-year hiatus, the 80s sci-fi thriller “Stranger Things” (May 27) is back for the first half of its fourth season. Now in high school, the gang broke up after Joyce (Winona Ryder) moved to California with her family, which includes Will (Noah Schnapp) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). But Upside Down isn’t done with them yet, and a spring break reunion promises more adventures. Five episodes will be released on July 27th, with the last four episodes of the season coming on July 1st.
Netflix NFLX, -35.12% also has new seasons of some fan-favorite unscripted shows such as B. Season 4 of the Social Media/Catfishing Contest “The circle” (May 4th, new episodes every week); a new US version of the hit Australian dating show “Love on the Spectrum” (May 18); and season 5 of the comforting food/travel show “Somebody Feed Phil” (25. May).

There are also “graduation year” (May 13), a comedy starring Rebel Wilson as a popular girl who wakes up after two decades in a coma and wants to finish high school; “The Lincoln Lawyer” (May 13), a new legal drama series from producer David E. Kelley, based on the character from Michael Connelly’s popular novels; Season 5 of the romantic drama Starz “stranger” (May 10), which originally aired in 2020; and Season 3 of the Spanish language melodrama “Who killed Sara?” (May 18).
Netflix also adds movies like “When Harry met Sally”, “You have mail” and “Crazy Stupid Love” (all May 1st), while “topgun,” All six seasons of “Downton Abbey” and all three seasons of “Happy end” retires from service at the end of the month.
