Jovanotti, once the idol of the “young men”, managed to conquer music lovers of every generation, managed to make pop work his beloved rap and today he is appreciated for his sincerity and simplicity, as well as for his charisma and lightness, with a never excessive way of always stepping out of line.
Born in 1966, curiously enough, he wanted to become famous with his name “Joe Vanotti” and not everyone knows. It was an inattentive typographer who wrote history without knowing it, changing the stage name to Jovanotti. Now identified by that name by the public, Lorenzo Cherubini launched a career as a DJ and then debuted on the music scene with the single “Walk“. As a result, from 1988 he produced “E’ qui la festa”, “Gino Latino” and a series of albums with resounding success (“Jovanotti for President“) to this day.
