Together but apart. United but everyone at home. Many continue to wonder about the “burst” couple Sonja Bruganelli and Paul Bonolis. A “non-separation” that, according to the two, would also be their secret for the strength of the marriage: to be united, but at a distance. However, the versions of the story provided by the couple have some (not small) differences.
The two apartments
When Sonia Bruganelli said months ago that she had bought an apartment next door to the one where she lived with Paolo Bonolis to live with her daughter, divorce was considered. All wrong.
The secret to sticking together as a couple
The conductor and GFVip columnist are more united than ever and their decision to live apart but in two neighboring houses has matured over time. In an interview with the weekly magazine Nuovo, Bruganelli explains: “In order to survive as a couple, you need healthy ignoring, it’s very simple. Everyone leads their own life, they meet every now and then in the apartment. I don’t even drink coffee together. I drink it at home, he goes to the bar instead. I am arranging my new house that I will move into alone with our daughter Adele. And he specifies that “sleeping in separate rooms is a sign of civilisation”.
Bonolis version
Paolo Bonolis was always more cautious on this subject and told Verissimo that the two apartments communicate with each other: “I bought an apartment next to ours. We made a door, we expanded and then more rooms were created, but that’s it. My wife and I couldn’t be more different. We’ve been together for 25 years and that’s great. It is thanks to her that she felt that a little more distance was actually a closer approach.”
Different houses and different buildings
But Bruganelli revealed to Corriere della Sera that the two houses are actually in different buildings. “Sleeping in separate rooms is a sign of civilisation!” – said the columnist – But now let’s go further: I’m furnishing my new home, where I’ll be moving alone with Adele (the youngest daughter, editor’s note). . Silvia (the eldest daughter, editor’s note) stays with him. We’re still together, for sure! But in different buildings connected by a double door on the terrace. It’s the secret to staying together for life.”
