Iranian climber Elnaz Rekabi’s family home is reportedly “destroyed”.

According to IranWire news agency, the family home of Iranian climber Elnaz Rekabi has reportedly been demolished.

In October, Rekabi competed without her hijab in South Korea after Mahsa Amini died amid anti-regime protests across Iran. Some human rights groups raised concerns about Rekabi’s safety when she returned to Tehran.

Amini, 22, died after being taken into custody by vice squads for allegedly not wearing her hijab properly.
