What is the Switch OLED?
The Switch OLED is Nintendo’s top-of-the-line console. Its design is the same as the original Switch, but with better integrated buttons and a more comfortable coating. The main development that justifies this new version, as the name suggests, is the OLED screen. It’s 0.8″ larger, allowing you to gain more immersive and visual comfort in wearable mode. OLED brings a sharper image, blacker black and thus inevitably better contrasts. The colors cannot be surpassed and stand out better with a significantly more dynamic colorimetric rendering.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD that accompanies the console is the Switch version of the game released for Wii ten years ago. The question of whether to play it after the incredible The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild inevitably comes up. The answer is yes if you enjoy the saga and yes if you are looking forward to Tears of the Kingdom.
An ambitious Zelda in its day, Skyward Sword still shines today. Often brilliant in its mechanics and always intriguing in what it tries to produce, this Zelda shows great mastery in presenting its universe and drawing you into it. The dungeons are well designed and true to the Zelda lore. The principle is always the same and manages to reinvent itself over and over again in the course of the adventure. Aside from the inevitably dated gameplay and sometimes anecdotal story, Skyward Sword deserves a rediscovery.
