Cold polar air or a mild return: How will the weather be for you in the next few days?

A stream of cold polar air will hit France in the coming days, but temperatures should warm up in part of the territory.

Temperatures have fallen well below seasonal norms for the past few days and are expected to continue to do so. “A stream of cold polar air will glide over Europe in the coming days,” announces Météo-Pyrénées. This descent of cold air from northern Scandinavia is expected over France next week. But the entire area will not be affected by this disturbance.

Aude and the Pyrénées-Orientales spared

“It will not reach the south of France. The temperatures will even be slightly weaker near the Pyrenees compared to the last few days. During the day they will reach or exceed 10°C,” specifies the weather forecast site.

The edge of the Mediterranean will be spared from a “depression that will circulate over Spain and carry away somewhat milder and, above all, humid air,” explains Météo Languedoc. “The Aude and the Pyrénées-Orientales could stay away from the main excitement,” estimates the meteorological site.
