Rudy Giuliani’s unmasking on The Masked Singer prompts Ken Jeong to exit: ‘I’m done’

Rudy Giuliani was unveiled on The Masked Singer US last night (April 20), prompting judge Ken Jeong to walk off the set.

The former New York Mayor and Donald Trump aide turned out to be the man behind the jack-in-the-box mask at the hit celebrity singing contest.

Jack in the Box was voted out in a single round after his only performance of “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood & The Destroyers.

After unmasking Giuiliani, Jeong – who sits on the jury alongside Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger – was visibly unimpressed. Thicke looked unhappy too.

While McCarthy and Scherzinger stayed close to joke with Giuliani, Jeong stood silently, his face frozen and his arms folded. As the credits rolled, the Hangover star was heard saying, “I’m done,” before exiting the stage.

Giuliani’s unmasking came as no surprise. It had previously been reported that he appeared on the series after the episode was first taped.

His participation on the show has proved controversial after he was suspended from the legal profession in New York last year when a court found he had made “provenly false” statements about Trump’s 2020 election defeat.

Speaking about why he was on the show, Giuliani said, “I think the main reason is because I just had a granddaughter, Grace, and I want her to know that you should try everything, even things that.” totally unlike you and unlikely.

“And I couldn’t think of anything more dissimilar and unlikely than this. And I enjoy the show. I have for years. And it just seemed like fun. I can’t have much fun.”
