As told Radio-Canada on Monday by Groupe CH President France Margaret Bélanger, the number 31 has in some way claimed ignorance of the tragedy that claimed the lives of 14 women, turning 33 on Tuesday last years.

Price has found himself in the hot seat since opposing the federal government’s C-21 bill.

“He was unaware of the tragic events of December 6, 1989 or of the coalition’s recent marketing initiatives,” Ms. Bélanger told the state-owned company.

On Saturday, the British Columbia athlete sided with the Canadian Coalition for Gun Rights and posted a message on his Instagram account, accompanied by a photo of himself in hunting gear and holding a gun.

“I love my family, I love my country and I take care of my neighbors. I am not a criminal or a threat to society. That [le premier ministre] What Justin Trudeau is trying to do is unfair. I support the coalition to keep my hunting tools,” he wrote.

The C-21 project submitted in the spring could change the definition of offensive weapons by adding several weapons used by fighters.
