“Love Lies in the Meadow”: Revealing the Farmers

The portraits of the five new farmers who will take part in the next season of Love is in the Meadow were revealed by Noovo on Tuesday.

Anne-Sophie, 24, is a producer of beef, poultry and maple syrup. Anne-Sophie, newly elected councilor of the town of Neuville in the Capitale-Nationale region, is active, committed and ambitious. She studied Agritourism Management before joining the family business and is now looking for a handyman who is as established as she is and willing to share her busy everyday life.

Elisabeth, also 24 years old, lives in Saint-Gabriel-de-Rimouski in Bas-Saint-Laurent. She is a rancher and owns a horse farm. Energetic, Elisabeth has a great passion for horses and has just entered the rodeo circuit. Determined, she is looking for her “rag”, a handsome, charismatic cowboy who can help her on the farm and follow her in all her adventures.

Guillaume, 38, is this season’s dean. Guillaume, dairy and grain producer in Rivière-Ouelle, Bas-Saint-Laurent, is a sensitive, brave man who takes pride in his work as a farmer. Single for several years, he is looking for a girl to take him out of his everyday life. He would like to get to know his life partner, a bright, honest and understanding woman.

Marc-Antoine, 27, wants to start a family and dreams of seeing his children running around the farm like he loved to do when he was young. A dairy and maple syrup producer in Saint-Philémon, in Chaudière-Appalaches, Marc-Antoine is snarky and has strong family values. He wants to find an active girl with whom to share moments of simplicity.

Robert, Bobby for friends age 27 is looking for an enterprising girl who is willing to invest in a relationship and is outgoing. Bobby is imaginative, curious and introverted by nature. He is surrounded by his parents and his three sisters, who have an important place in his life. He is a dairy and crops grower in Howick, Montérégie.

In its first 10 seasons, “Love is in the Meadow” helped create 17 couples and give birth to around 30 children. The show will be back on Noovo and Noovo.ca starting January 12 at 8 p.m.
