James Cameron cut an elegant figure at the world premiere of Avatar: The Way Of Water on Tuesday night in London.
The Canadian filmmaker, 68, looked suave in a black suit and crisp white shirt, which he paired with a purple tie, as he posed with his wife Suzy Amis Cameron, 60.
James, who directed Avatar, sported a trimmed beard and combed his silver locks back.

The cinema genius – who recently admitted Avatar 2 needs to make $2 billion to break even – cupped his hands sweetly over his wife’s as they put on a leisurely show.
Guests all flocked to the venue to celebrate the highly anticipated Avatar sequel, while the first film is reportedly the highest-grossing film of all time.
The second film, titled Avatar 2: The Way of Water, brought back much of the original cast, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, but also added Kate Winslet and Vin Diesel.

The trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water was released just a month before the film’s December 16 release.
The trailer begins with members of the Na’vi riding on the backs of Ikrans and flying pterodactyl creatures, which they carry over a beautiful waterfall.
Sam Worthington’s Jake Sully and Zoe Saldaña’s Neytiri take their children to another tribe seeking safe haven, while giant human-operated mechanical suits trample through a forest.

“Treat them like our brothers and sisters,” insists a leader of this other tribe as several individuals swim through crystal clear waters.
“Teach them our ways,” the voice continues, while a young voice calls one of Sully’s children “wood boy.”
Then you learn to ride a giant underwater eel. It emulates the scene from the first film when Sam Worthington’s character is taught to ride an ikran.
Titles cut into scenes of scenic landscapes refer to the film as “The Movie Event of a Generation”.
The Na’vi are then placed in a dangerous situation where humans are burning down their lands with giant flamethrowers, destroying almost everything in their path.
Just a few weeks before Avatar 2’s scheduled release, Sam Worthington announced that they’ve already started filming Avatar 3 and some scenes from Avatar 4.
The Australian actor, 46, returns in the 2009 sequel Avatar as Jake Sully, who has a new family on Pandora.
Avatar: The Way of Water will lead to Avatar 3, which is expected to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.

And Sam revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that between 80 and 90 percent of Avatar 3 has already been made into a movie.
“We filmed about 80%, 90% of three. We still owe a few scenes,’ Sam said, drawing a few breaths from the viewers.
He added that some scenes were already filmed for Avatar 4 simply because they involved children who would be too old to wait.
“And in Four, we shot a few scenes because the kids were getting older, so we have to do it before they get a little bit older,” he explained.
He added that a fifth film is also in the works “if we’re lucky enough to get it,” adding, “We’re not arrogant enough to assume there’s going to be a connection.”
It comes after James revealed the highly anticipated second Avatar film was “really bloody expensive” to shoot.

Last month, the respected director didn’t provide exact figures on the cost, but called it “the worst business case in movie history.”
He told GQ: “You have to be the third or fourth highest-grossing film in history. This is your threshold. This is your breakeven point.”
