‘You wanna play tight end for us tonight?’: Tom Brady tries to recruit baseball star Aaron Judge as Buc’s quarterback admits he ‘gave him his best pitch’ before starring in the late win
Tom Brady made another attempt to sign star slugger Aaron Judge ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ dramatic win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday.
Social media has been in an uproar after the former New York Yankees superstar showed up at the game and speculation about the free agent’s future continued.
And it seems like the Yankees and San Francisco Giants aren’t the only ones interested in recruiting him as Bucs star quarterback Brady.

Brady joked that he gave him “his best pitch” as Judge’s future is up in the air right now
Brady and Judge shook hands and hugged in the tunnel before Tampa Bay’s 17-16 win. The NFL star asked, “Do you want to play tight end for us tonight?”
It’s unclear what Judge, who wore a Mike Evans No. 13 jersey when he visited the stadium, said in response.
Brady posted a clip of the meeting on his Twitter profile Tuesday morning and said he “gave it his best pitch.” He also thanked Judge for attending the game.

It’s not the first time the 45-year-old has asked this question.
The baseball player was a guest on Brady’s weekly Let’s Go podcast in October.
It was no secret that Judge’s contract at Yankee Stadium was expiring at the end of the season, putting an option on the table for Brady.
“After such an incredible year and now on the verge of freelance, I was wondering what it would take to bring you to Tampa for next year to be a tight finish for us,” Brady said. “It looks pretty good to me – the way he walks, the size, the catch radius, the power!

“I know you were a great high school football player. Baseball’s turned out pretty good for you, but we might have to look at this dual player.’
The judge joked he was ecstatic, saying: “We can get a nice little split contact, we can find a way to work that out.
“You give me a few red zone looks, and then I can go and hit some home runs. If Tom throws me touchdowns, sign me up to play for free.’
The American League MVP enjoyed a record-breaking season with the Yankees, hitting 62 home runs in the regular season, but his future is currently in the stars.
The Yankees and San Francisco Giants are considered frontrunners for acquisitions, and he’s been reported to have an eight-year, $300 million deal on the table from the Bronx Bombers.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has admitted there is “risk” of losing the judge.
