The moment when Brandon Williams realizes that it was Christian Eriksen who beat him in rugby is absolutely incredible

norwich cornerback Brandon Williams was initially furious when brentford the player knocked him to the ground … but he quickly forgave the person involved in this person, realizing that it was Christian Eriksen.

The hilarious incident took place in the first half of Saturday’s Premier League match at Carrow Road.

Williams, who is currently on loan at the Canaries from Manchester United, managed to clear the ball wide of Eriksen in the 39th minute. However, the Danish international did not want him to come off.

As you can see in the footage, Brentford’s No. 21 knocks a defender down with a deliberate tug on the jersey.

Williams falls down and grabs Eriksen’s shirt in anger. But upon learning that it was the former Spurs midfielder who suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, the 21-year-old began hugging him with great force.

After completing his return to the Premier League last month, Eriksen received a standing ovation, making his first appearance since cardiac arrest eight months ago.

In fact, the 30-year-old received goosebumps from both sets of fans when he was introduced in Brentford’s clash against Newcastle United in the 52nd minute.

The Newcastle players even paid their respects by applauding the Danish midfielder on the pitch.

It has been a steady return for Eriksen, who has signed a six-month deal with Brentford and if all goes according to plan, the midfielder is looking to play for Denmark later this year.

“My goal is to play at the World Cup in Qatar. I want to play,” Eriksen told Danish publication DR. “That was my mindset all along. This is a goal, a dream. Whether I will be chosen is another question. But my dream is to return.

“I’m sure I can come back because I don’t feel different.

“Physically I am in great shape again. That was my goal and it’s still a long way off, so until then I’ll just play football and prove that I’m back at the same level.”

Shortly after his cardiac arrest at the European Championships, the Danish national team doctor described the moment he and his staff brought Eriksen back to life after his horrific defeat against Finland.

Dr. Morten Bozen spoke after the game and spoke in detail about the incident, which took place in front of millions of people around the world.

“We were called to the field when Christian fell,” Dr. Bowsen told iNews.

“I did not have time to see him, but it soon became clear that he had fallen. When we approached, he was lying on his side and breathing.

“We felt the pulse, but rather quickly the picture changed, and then we began life-saving treatment of the heart.

“There was fantastic help from the stadium doctor and the rest of the emergency services, and thanks to this cooperation, we got what we needed.

“We brought back Christian, who spoke to me before he was taken to the hospital.”

It’s nice to see Eriksen back on the field doing what he does best.
