‘End of an era 11 years. Every door closes, another door opens,” he said with a cheeky smile on his face.
While remaining coy about his new project, Miguel said he was over the moon that he could finally take a break from work and spend the next month in Europe.
“I can’t tell you anything, buddy. But I can tell you that Friday is my holiday and that’s the best I can go on holiday.

“I have a whole month off and it’s good to have some free time to relax. I’m going back to Europe with my family. I will visit my mother and father in Spain. It was long ago.’
“This year has been crazy with like 50 live shows and with The Living Room ending it’s kind of a really big year coming to an end.”
Miguel said he is very excited about his new gig and can’t wait to announce it in the new year.

Co-host Amanda Keller confirmed the show’s cancellation back in October on her WSFM breakfast program Jonesy & Amanda.
Keller said it was partly a network decision to give producers time to reformat the series ahead of a potential return.
She promised fans that the show will premiere in 2024 with the “fantastic foursome” – consisting of Amanda, Miguel, Barry Du Bois and Dr. Chris Brown – who would resume their hosting duties.
Amanda said it was a “sad” but necessary move, with the year-long hiatus needed to ensure “The Living Room” has a “brilliant” comeback.
