Grant Denyer shares his day in HELL, including an unusual lightning strike and dropping his iPad in the bath… after doctors said he will die unless he changes his lifestyle

Grant Denyer had his own day in hell on Thursday after nothing seemed to be going right for him.

The 45-year-old Along For The Ride podcaster documented his bad day on Instagram, listing everything that went wrong.

Denyer shared a photo of himself looking wide-eyed and disheveled, and captioned the post, “Today you can eat a bag of d*cks: a water main has exploded, podcast equipment is down, a whole podcast Lost record and become a crook.”

The Family Feud presenter, who shares daughters Scout, Sailor and Sunday with wife Chezzi, continued: “My water bottle exploded (lightning strike), Sailor’s iPad broke, she dropped MY iPad in the bath, two iPads are dead and the baby has conjunctivitis. ‘

“Mom is leaving me and the girls for a 3 day retreat tomorrow. Oops.’

It comes just days after Denyer revealed his doctors warned him he would die if he didn’t make lifestyle changes.

He said he could “do whatever I wanted, wherever I wanted” after his success on television, but a turbulent life took a toll on his health and he eventually developed chronic fatigue syndrome.

“I didn’t listen to my body; I had massive chronic fatigue,” he said on his Along for the Ride podcast.

He continued, “There was a point where I went to the doctor and they examined my organs and tested them all and said they were around seven percent.”

“And they said, ‘If you don’t do something drastic, you’re going to die, and soon.’ So I thought, ‘Holy shit, this is serious, I have to do something about this.’

Grant explained how he “forgot about achievement and reviews” and began focusing on his health.

The former Sunrise weatherman said in July he struggles with “fear of not being good enough” but has developed effective coping strategies.

Grant, a two-time Dancing with the Stars winner, said in a candid Instagram post: “I’m flawed, I have many weaknesses, I struggle.

“I’m a work in progress. I suffer from perfectionism, but with things like meditation or self-improvement, I don’t strive for perfection, only progress. That’s enough.’
