Meghan is completely consumed with jealousy of Kate – is that what it’s about? COMMENT

You know, the story of how they fled the UK to find peace and privacy, and then spent the intervening years increasingly viciously berating Harry’s long-suffering family in various interviews and programs.

And just when you think they can’t sink any lower, they create another shift down.

If those ghastly trailers they released are anything, the next step is truly despicable. It looks like the focus of her attention will be on the Princess of Wales. How can Harry do that?

Until now, he’s seemed like a dumb man who has fallen for a vengeful woman who seems utterly consumed with jealousy of the former Catherine Middleton. But he now engages in attacks on a woman who treated him like a brother.

It’s absolutely appalling to use a word associated with his father. What brought him to this phase?

There must be something deep within him, whatever’s left of old Harry, that knows what he’s doing is not only reprehensible, it borders on evil.

We hardly need rehearse the fact that Harry and Meghan were given a huge wedding at taxpayer expense while then-Prince Charles walked Meghan down the aisle. The only thing they were denied was their desire to monetize their status within the monarchy.

Otherwise, they’ve been given everything they could ask for – and now this. Betrayal doesn’t matter: we should expect no less from Meghan, who hasn’t been in contact with any member of her family except her mother.

But Harry? And implicate his own late mother? Does he really think Princess Diana would have wanted him to go to war against his own brother?

It is said by those who knew her that she hoped Harry would support William as he neared the throne – a support that turned out to be.

What on earth is wrong with this couple? One can only hope that they have now gone so far that the people who support them (some with their own agendas) realize what a web of obfuscation, insults and destruction the two are unleashing and walk away for good.

It has already emerged that many of the crowd scenes in the documentary – ostensibly to show Meghan being harassed by photographers – were actually shot by other people who were being bullied and in fact had nothing to do with the atrocious couple.

Who in their right mind could support them now? I’ve never disgusted a public figure like these two: they gave their all and threw it in the face of the monarchy.

Meghan seems to be one of the most awkward women on earth… and Harry? His mother would have been so ashamed of him. And for what?

It may not seem like it at the moment, but Harry and Meghan will be forgotten pretty soon. And the monarchy will endure.

Don’t blame and disgrace the poor goblins…

Here’s something new for me: Goblin mode. It’s the Oxford Language Word of the Year (yes, I know, it’s two.) I of course assumed this was a sudden desire to guard great hoards of gold, the traditional leprechaun past, before realizing it was is another word for ugly.

Specifically, it refers to stopping curating your social media presence to make you and your life look perfect.

Isn’t that unfair to goblins? It’s not their fault if they tend not to win too many beauty pageants.

Shouldn’t we be exclaiming body shaming when we see it? And don’t get me started on trolls.

Sorry Julia, George is already taken…

How would you feel if one of the most beautiful women in the world wore a dress covered in photographs of your husband?

Amal Clooney has hitherto lashed out about the Julia Roberts pics being littered with pictures of George, but if I were her I’d be feeling pretty smug. One of Julia’s earlier films, My Best Friend’s Wedding, was about how men should chase women and not the other way around.

If George had been adorned with photos of Jules, it would have been very different. But I don’t think Amal needs to worry about that.

Young and hateful

Father Vincent Planells, 24, was recently called to his first post in the small Spanish town of Albalat dels Tarongers, north of Valencia.

Originally, his youthful vitality was welcomed in the aging community.

But now he’s been accused of preaching hate, justifying domestic violence as a way of “educating” women, calling homosexuality a disease and criticizing women for wearing short skirts.

If true, it shows that the most extreme form of intolerance tends to be found among young people.

King attacked by very British Egg stremen

I’m a fan of King Charles…long may he and the monarchy prosper.

Nevertheless, there is something reassuring that demonstrators in this country throw an egg when they want to protest, as has just happened to him for the second time.

In other, more fierce countries, it risks being a hand grenade – in Britain it’s the product of the hen, or perhaps a rotten vegetable. Makes you proud to be British.

anger equality

Apparently, both women and men can suffer from a Napoleon complex. That would certainly explain Nicola Sturgeon!
