Ahead of his live-streaming performance for Amazon Music Live, the Grammy-nominated rapper took to the screen during a commercial break for Thursday Night Football and announced his new album, Don’t Be Dumb.
“Thursday Night Football,” he explained. ‘Amazon. Back on stage for the first time. album finished. Do not be stupid. Let’s go.’
The F**kin’ Problems rapper – born Rakim Athelaston Mayers – went on to perform three new tracks from his long-teased album.
One of those new songs paid homage to fallen hip-hop icons, with the rapper projecting images of Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls and DMX during his performance.

The Praise the Lord chart-topper didn’t reveal the tracklist or release date of Don’t Be Dumb, but did tease two other songs called “Roddy Rowdy Piper” and “Mushroom Clouds.”
In addition to his big reveal, A$AP Rocky performed some of his classic hits while Rihanna watched with pride.
The rapper’s big announcement comes hand-in-hand with Rihanna’s own return to music after building her fashion and beauty empire.
The megastar is gearing up for her Super Bowl halftime performance next February and recently released the lead single for the blockbuster film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
