Le Pen opposes this classification. “Right-wing extremist is an insult,” she told CNews. When Macron calls them that, “he calls millions of French people right-wing extremists,” she said. The night before, she called on her supporters to vote in a husky voice at an event in Arras. “People of France, it’s time to get up!” she shouted.
Both are planning a party in Paris
In the event of an election victory, Macron’s team is planning an event at the Champ de Mars – time permitting. Rain is forecast for Sunday night in Paris.
Le Pen’s team, on the other hand, is planning a parade of 16 campaign buses through Paris. Both candidates will vote in their home cities, Macron in Le Touquet and Le Pen in Hénin-Beaumont, in the morning.
Tomorrow Saturday no more campaign events are allowed. Polling stations are open on Sundays between 8 am and 7 pm, in large cities also until 8 pm. The first projections will be available at 8 pm.
