At the EU summit in Brussels, the issue of migration ended up not being on the agenda. However, Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) made a positive assessment of this in the morning newspaper Ö1. “Together with the Netherlands, we managed to raise awareness of migration and illegal entry issues among the 27 EU member states,” he said.
