According to TVYumurí, Liuba Quintero Ávila, head of the operations department of the terminal in the western province of Matanzas, announced the December 24 landing of Neos, which had last touched the airport of Cuba’s main resort in March 2020. .
Curiously, according to Quintero Ávila, Neos flew to Juan Gualberto Gómez for the first time on December 25, 2015, and now it will do exactly 7 years and a day after that debut.

Varadero will join Havana, Holguín and Cayo Largo del Sur, completing the quartet of destinations to which Neos will fly in this season of tourist growth, the period from November to April, when the country receives its main flows of foreign visitors.
At the end of October, 1,198,402 international visitors enjoyed the Cuban destination, including 31,558 Italians, the island’s emissions market ranked ninth, surpassed in equal order by Canada, the Cuban community abroad, the United States, Spain, Germany, the Russian Federation, England and France.
