The Berlin AquaDom, the world’s largest cylindrical aquarium, located in the lobby of the Radisson Blu Hotel, has exploded.
The 14 meter high AquaDom held a million liters of salt water and 1500 exotic fish. According to initial information, the explosion happened in the middle of the night, around 4:30 a.m.
From videos posted on social media, it can be seen that water was still pouring out of the building in the morning, flooding the surrounding streets.
Firefighters on duty as the Berlin police report two injuries. The entire area has been cordoned off.
