After wearing Superman’s cape for four films, actor Henry Cavill announces on his social networks that he will not be reprising the role of Clark Kent in cinemas.

This decision was made after discussion with director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran.
“I will ultimately not be reprising my role as Superman, despite an announcement to the contrary in October. This message is not easy, but such is life,” we can read in her publication.
He also appeared in the last DC film, Black Adams, starring Dwayne Johnson last October.

“There may be a changing of the guard in our midst. James and Peter have to build a universe,” he says.
He wanted to thank the fans and his colleagues.
