Visiting a women’s clothing store, she decided to contact her daughter, but to no avail. The singer’s mother continued to text and call. The young woman’s mobile phone merely reported that it was switched off and asked her to leave a message in the mailbox.

Shopping center searches
Ana Paula called the mall security. The searches soon began. Cinemas, restrooms and shops have been visited in an attempt to find the young woman, but to no avail.
The singer’s mother stayed until the mall closed, looking for her daughter.
Unsuccessful in the searches, she went to the 34th Police Precinct early Sunday to file a police report into her daughter’s disappearance.
North Shopping Jockey said in a note that it was aware of the case and guided family members on the procedures to be followed with the relevant authorities.
“The company is still available to the authorities to help clarify the matter,” the mall said.
The Ceará Civil Police also issued a note saying they are investigating the teenager’s disappearance. “The case was registered with the 34th Police Precinct (DP) early Sunday (18th) and was transferred to the 12th Police Station Homicide and Personal Protection Unit (DHPP), a police unit which is further investigating the case. More information will be provided at an appropriate time so as not to disrupt the police investigation,” the civil police said.
