“In my career, I’ve gone down four for every two notches up,” he says bluntly in an exclusive and candid interview with Glamour. The professional milestone of 2022 is one of the highlights: copresenting the videocast “Quem Pode, Pod” alongside Giovanna Ewbank, which started in July.

Offering amusing glimpses, the 39yearold from São Paulo doesn’t hide her emotions or revelations at the time of the interviews, whether it’s recounting the past with her nowgirlfriend, delving into intimate moments or revealing to netizens the engagement ring she got from the businessman Victor Sampaio.

“Those who follow already know her and even expect a more scathing reaction from me, my scandalous laugh… It’s fun,” she says proudly. Here he reveals even more as he opens up about revealing the public facet, the pain of pregnancy loss he has endured and what guarantees him confidence in the year ahead.

HOW DO YOU VIEW THE SUCCESS OF WHO CAN, POD?
I didn’t imagine it, but I knew it would work. Sport is different than a hit, and so is our friendship, which used to have Bruno at its heart. I celebrate not only the success of the project, but also the success of our relationship. Who saw us, who saw us… We managed to turn a story that didn’t exist or existed only in competition, struggles and childishness into something so powerful.

DO YOU THINK EXPOSURE DURING EVERY VIDEOCAST CALL?
I’ve never been afraid to expose myself and I know spontaneity is the honey of business. I started very young and in my career I’ve gone down four for every two notches up, I haven’t had a meteoric rise. Good or bad, there is wisdom and maturity in not falling into traps. I don’t find my life that interesting at all. There are some moments that suck when I’m disheveled, with ugly clothes. I’m a born Gemini, I’m not afraid of a good conversation and I love conversations that I can’t even imagine where they will end. Those who follow already expect a more caustic reaction, my scandalous laugh… It’s fun.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN MENTAL HEALTH?
I’ve done analysis at some stages in my life, I usually say it was a “stage analysis”. Now I’ve been there nonstop for over a year. I began to see the transformation in my life. I thought I was a knowitall, solving my own problems without needing professional help. If I haven’t fallen into depression this year, it’s because of therapy. I can be where I leave off on Monday at 2:30pm whatever I’m doing to attend the session. Analysis is a relationship.

YOU REPORTED A MISSING PREGNANCY, HOW DO YOU APPROACH THE EPISODE?
That was in October last year. I’ve been using an IUD for a long time, but I chose to remove it because the method increased flow and gave me a lot of cramps. A month after the removal I had no menstruation. I decided to take the test. 45 days later I had a bleed. It was a drain when I lost and this year was very difficult personally and emotionally, I found myself with a lot of demons. I didn’t think the loss would upset me so much. I discovered that I really wanted to be a mother when I saw the bleeding. And now? I didn’t try anymore. I could not do it. I had to see that things weren’t so good for me. I want to be a mother and somehow I will, that’s for sure.

WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING FOR 2023?
I confess that I am politically relieved. I hope for a more just and less unequal Brazil with more access to education so people will applaud your art. It’s going to be difficult, but it’s good that we can breathe a little. I wish I had more confidence. The confidence I have is really in that. I hope to keep having fun and building new stories hand in hand with Gioh. Prioritize my personal life as I always put work first. I will look after myself more. And enjoy the relationship I have with Victor who makes me happy, a partner who lifts me up, who loves to see me happy.
