Surveillance cameras at one facility captured the exact moment a woman working in a shop felt tenderness for a homeless man as she saw him walking barefoot and with boxes on his feet that doubled as shoes.

Subject in a street situation walked past Leia’s place of work, a downtown liquor store Brooklyn, when a detail caught his attention. According to the pictures, the man rummaged through the garbage and found the boxes there. He tied them to it so they could run away without trouble.
“I saw her feet and automatically took off my shoes,” the worker said. “He said, ‘No one would have given me shoes like that.’ And I said, ‘Well, I’m not everyone.’ And he said ‘Thank you very much’ and I see him walking away and he’s walking away with pride,” the woman continued.
After viewing the footage, the store’s security manager showed the clip to his boss, who was very proud and stated that he would like to have more workers like Leia Thomas.
The Facebook clip has received thousands of views and thousands of comments, among which the noble woman thanked her for her beautiful gesture.
