Kate Hudson has encouraged others to “take risks” and “say things that sometimes piss people off”.
The 43-year-old actress spoke to the Chron’s Richard Eden at a BAFTA party in Piccadilly over the weekend.
She said: “Believe in the things that we put out there and take risks and don’t always make people happy. And sometimes say things that piss people off.”

She added: “I had this really weird moment in Glastonbury this year, sober. I got so emotional after seeing Paul McCartney.
“Maybe it’s because he’s about my mother’s age.”
As well as promoting her latest project, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the beauty also revealed on Monday that she has been working on her first record on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

The sequel to the original and critically acclaimed 2019 film Knives Out also stars Daniel Craig, Edward Norton and Janelle Monae.
Kate stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier on Monday to talk about the film and give a sneak peek of what fans can expect.
“I mean, you only have a few great experiences,” she explained, adding that her stepfather, Kurt Russell, had told her, “You know, if you’re lucky, you get another great experience making a movie every ten years, where everything somehow fits. That’s how it felt.”
While speaking with Jimmy, Kate revealed surprising news to the talk show host and audience during the interview.

The actress explained, “I’ve been making a record for about a year,” hinting, “It’s so much fun.”
The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress went on to explain that she’s been “writing music” since she was 19 and “never shared it.”
“And so I just thought that this would be one of my big regrets. Like, I have no expectations. I just want to put out one record,’ Kate explained excitedly.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is slated for release later this month, on December 23, after a week-long theatrical run in November.
Kate was cast to play the character of Birdie Joy, while Bond actor Daniel Craig reprized his role as Detective Blanc.
According to an IMDB synopsis, the sequel’s premise follows: “Famed Southern detective Benoit Blanc” who “travels to Greece for his latest case.”
Upon the release of the first film in 2019, the film garnered numerous awards including an Oscar nomination.
Kate also opened up about her mother and famous actress Goldie, who recently attended a screening of the film.
“I knew she would love it,” the Late Night With Seth Myers star said, jokingly adding that her mom was “a lot more excited” about seeing Edward Norton “after the movie” than I was.
